How payments, holds and refunds work.

Payment holds

Funds for a confirmed booking are held securely and released to the helper once the requester confirms the task is complete.

Neighbour charges a transparent platform fee on each task, shown before you confirm.

If a task is cancelled before it starts, held funds are returned. Where work is disputed, our dispute resolution process determines the outcome.
